This is my first independent album and I am most thankful to the Cooke family for their support in allowing me to help keep the legendary Sam Cooke's music alive and well.

Ever since I can remember the warm and beautiful voice of Sam Cooke, he has been an inspiration to me. His diction, delivery, and his wonderful way of telling a story was like no other. He always sang from the heart and always made you feel as though it was you he was singing to. He was and always will be "Mr. Soul".

Thank you to all my fans, who have remained a big part of my inspiration throught the years.
